Gjergji is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Machine Learning and Perception group at Microsoft Research Cambridge. His main research interests are graph-based information retrieval, probabilistic reasoning over large-scale knowledge bases, and semantic search. Together with Thore Graepel, Gjergji is leading the Knowledge Representation and Reasoning group.
Gjergji received his Diploma degree from the University of Marburg in Germany in 2006. From 2006 to 2009, Gjergji has been a doctoral student in the Databases and Information Systems group at the Max-Planck Institute for Informatics in Germany, where he was mainly involved in the YAGO-NAGA project.
