I’m a Research SDE Manager at Microsoft. My focus areas include Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning (ML), and Conversational AI. I lead the applied science of Microsoft Power Virtual Agents and AI Builder. Previously, I worked on the R&D of multiple AI projects including Dynamics 365 Customer Service Insights, Language Understanding cognitive service (luis.ai), Open Information Extraction and Multilingual Named Entity Recognition (NER). Before joining Microsoft, I used to work in the R&D of Arabic-English machine translation for an Arabic NLP leading company. My thesis belongs to the NLP field, more specifically Automatic Inference of Lexical Ontologies.
