I hold a MS degree in Computer Science from Stanford University with a Specialization in Distributed Systems and a Distinction in Research in Artificial Intelligence. I got my undergraduate degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras, India.

After graduating from Stanford in Apr '06, I worked as a Software Design Engineer at Microsoft Corporation for four years on Federated Web Services Security and Cloud Computing support in the Microsoft.NET platform (3.0, 3.5, and 4.0 releases).

From Apr ’10, I worked for a couple years as a Program Manager on the Windows Phone team (7.0 and 7.5 releases), on projects that focused on driving up partner quality in the phone ecosystem. In particular, I worked on building a cloud-based solution for enforcing partner compliance metrics for the Windows Phone platform. I also worked on the design of a Business Intelligence (BI) solution for Windows Phone device telemetry analytics.

In my current role, I serve as a Program Manager in Microsoft Research (MSR) Silicon Valley, and enable strategic partnerships between research groups in MSR which build cutting edge, next-gen technology, with product groups in Microsoft Corp., which can leverage such technology to ship compelling product experiences for Microsoft customers.
