Biography

    Dr. Li received his M.E. and Ph.D degrees from Tsinghua University in 2005 and 2007 respectively, both in computer science. Before that, he spent four undergraduate years in Beijing Normal University and got a B.S. degree in 2003, also in computer science. 
    Dr. Li joined Microsoft Research Asia as an associate researcher in Jan 2008. His current research interest includes Internet architecture and protocols, data center networking and green computing. He has published more than 10 technical papers in International conferences and journals. He has filed 4 US patents. He is a member of IEEE.

Current Projects

[1] Data center multicast
    This project seeks to design scalable, reliable and efficient multicast scheme for data center to achieve network bandwidth saving.
[2] Green computing
    This project regards energy consumption as an important metric in distributed computing and aims to study the relationshp/tradeoff between performance, energy and hw/sw configurations.
