Mike Chieh-Jan Liang

I am in the Mobile and Sensing Systems (MASS) group at Microsoft Research Asia (MSRA).

My primary interests center around sensory computing: (1) Operating systems and networking protocols for large-scale wireless sensor networks, (2) Pipelines for sensor data aggregation and processing, and (3) Data sharing and collaborations among embedded and mobile devices.

I received Ph.D. in CS from Johns Hopkins University (JHU) in '11 under the supervision of Andreas Terzis; Master from JHU in '07; and Bachelor from University of Waterloo in '05.
