Bin Shao (邵斌) is a researcher at Microsoft Research (Beijing, China). He joined Microsoft after receiving his Ph.D. degree from Fudan University in July 2010. He received his B.S. degree from Shandong University in July 2005. Bin Shao is the architect, and the main developer of the MSR Trinity project, which builds a graph processing engine on a distributed in-memory storage infrastructure called memory cloud. His research interests include in-memory databases, distributed systems, graph query processing, and optimistic consistency maintenance.
