I am a researcher in Microsoft Innovation Lab in Cairo (CMIC) - Egypt.
I joined Microsoft in 2007. Before settling in the researcher role, I switched roles a couple of times; I worked as a Development Manager and an Architect. Prior to joining Microsoft, I was an architect at IBM R&D center in Cairo-Egypt. I hold a PhD in computer engineering from the University of British Columbia, Canada.
My research interests include various aspects of mobile systems such as mobile networking, sensors, context awareness, and mobile multimedia.
