Alexandre de Baynast

Alexandre de Baynast graduated from ESME Sudria, Paris, France, in 1998 with a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering. He completed the M.S. in ECE in 1999 and the Ph.D. in 2002 at University of Cergy-Pontoise, France, working with Inbar Fijalkow. From 2002 to 2006, he was a research assistant at ECE Dept of Rice University. From 2007 to 2008, he was a post-doc at the Mobnets faculty in RWTH Aachen University. In August 2008, he joined the Microsoft innovation center in Aachen. His research interests include software platform design for real-time embedded systems with special emphasis on stream signal processing and software defined radios. Previously, he worked on design of LDPC and turbo-codes, high-speed wireless networks. He is Member of the IEEE.
