Microsoft Research IndiaMicrosoft Research India was established in January 2005 in Bangalore. The lab employs about 50 scientists and support staff and hosts a large number of interns each year. The lab conducts long-term basic and applied research in different areas: cryptography, security, and algorithms; digital geographics; mobility, networks, and systems; multilingual systems; rigorous software engineering; and technology for emerging markets.
