Overview
Our charter is building systems that bring research ideas to life. We partner with researchers and incubate our own ideas that have longer term scope, often spanning multiple research areas.
Some of longer term projects are: (1) Rich Interactive Narratives, a data model and instances of tools such as player and authoring tool that enables creating rich, interactive multimedia narratives 2) CoCoNet, a compression and redundancy elimination technology that can operate as a host service in enterprise systems without the use of accelerator devices over a WAN 3) Using data mining techniques to analyze and gain insight from log data in large software systems
We often publish papers in collaboration with researchers, but our heart is in building real systems at near production quality and scale.
