Evening Activity
College Dinner - Wednesday 7th March 2012 (the evening before the workshop)
Location: Emmanuel College
Time: 19:00 – 22:00. Doors open at 19:00 for a drinks reception, followed by dinner served at 19:30.
Cost: Microsoft Research will cover the cost of the dinner, but we kindly ask that attendees pay for any extra beverages they may wish to order.
Please note there is limited availability for the extra evening activities and it will be on a first registered first served basis.
Transport and Accommodation
From the ASPLOS venue, the easiest way to reach Cambridge is by public transportation. Take the Picadilly line to King's Cross / St. Pancras station and then one of the frequent train services from King's Cross to Cambridge. Taxis are available at a taxi rank just outside the Cambridge station, and all central Cambridge hotels are a short taxi ride away.
The dinner at Emmanuel college is within walking distance of the Crowne Plaza and The Gonville. MSR Cambridge, where the workshop will be held, is 10 minutes by taxi or 30-40 minutes on foot from the hotels and the city centre.
