Rick Rashid Announces Microsoft Research New Faculty Fellows for 2009
During Faculty Summit 2009, Microsoft Research Senior Vice President Rick Rashid recognizes exceptional talent of the five newest Faculty Fellows with $200,000 each, and announces a $1 million gift to the National Center for Women and Information Technology (NWCIT). Initially created in 2005, the Microsoft Research Faculty Fellowship program now encompasses 25 academic researchers whose for research and thought leadership make them standouts in their fields.
