Tony Hey Rolls Out Project Trident and Dryad/DryadLINQ

Microsoft Corporate Vice President Tony Hey announces two new software tools. Project Trident: A Scientific Workflow Workbench allows scientists to easily work with large volumes of data. Dryad and DryadLINQ facilitate the use of high-performance computing by simplifying the task of implementing distributed applications on clusters of Windows-based computers.
