Soc.Digital Mixer

The Soc.Digital Mixer aims to connect scholars researching digital media communication and information technologies, particularly those studying social media from a qualitative perspective.

Microsoft Research New England’s Social Media Research Collective cordially welcomes digital media researchers in town for the International Communication Association Meetings to an informal evening of conversation Thursday May 26, from 8:30PM-10PM at Microsoft Research in Kendall Square (One Memorial Drive, Cambridge MA 02142). Space is limited to 125 pre-registered guests. Please make sure to bring photo ID as only registered guests will be allowed past the Security Desk. Appetizers and drinks will be provided.

We hope the Soc.Digital Mixer creates a space for professors and researchers to connect with graduate students just entering the field. Toward that end, a small cohort of graduate students have been invited to meet earlier in the evening, from 7PM-8:30PM, to get to know one another; they will be encouraged to stay for the Mixer.

For more information about this event or to learn more about the graduate student Meetup that will take place before the Soc.Digital Mixer, please contact Mary L. Gray, MSRNE Visiting Researcher, at:
