Microsoft Research Asia held the annual workshop of Japan's CORE (collaborative research) projects in Tokyo, Japan, on June 29, 2012. Approximately 100 faculty members, students, and Microsoft researchers discussed current research topics and reviewed Japan's collaborative research projects. Presenters introduced some of the latest projects from Microsoft Research and Microsoft technologies, and the workshop included demo and poster sessions as well as academic discussions about the latest research trends.
