- You don’t need a Microsoft Azure account—we’ll provide you with a special one for the class.
- You don’t need to be running Windows—you just need an HTML5-capable Internet Browser.
- We are “all in” in the cloud, so there will be few printed materials—if you want to write notes, please either use your laptop or bring your own writing materials—we won't have pens and paper. We will be providing softcopies of the course materials at the class.

Times – September, 16 and 17 (Monday-Tuesday) – Training: 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., both days. Registration/Breakfast begins at 8:30 A.M. Please attend both days to gain the maximum benefit—and also to receive a Course Completion Certificate.

Location – T739 on the 7th floor of the Magnuson Health Sciences Center. If you parked in the central garage per below, you will walk South through the campus via the fountain on your left. Take the foot bridge which crosses NE Pacific Street near the C10 Parking Lot. A Bing map of the walking route:

Parking – For non-UW visitors, parking has been arranged at the UW Central Plaza Parking Garage, off 15th Avenue NE at NE 41st Street: Stop at the gatehouse and advise the Parking Specialist that you have a parking reservation under “Azure 4 Research”. They will give you a parking permit for Levels C2-C5 (C5 is recommended, if you can handle the stairs). Display the permit on your dashboard. Parking for our event will be on a first come, first serve basis, so arrive early!

Catering – There will be a light continental breakfast served during registration starting at 8:30am; lunch will be served to all attendees in the Rotunda; and we’ll have an afternoon snack break. For Monday dinner, please feel free to make your own arrangements, but we will also offer a suggested location for those that want to discuss and socialize. For numbers, we’ll do a roll-call for dinner during Monday morning.

See you soon and travel safely!
