This training is offered to select research community audiences, predominantly consisting of practicing research scientists with at least basic software development skills. This one day course will help attendees acquire a general understanding of cloud computing with Windows Azure at scale.
Note: As part of the continuing collaboration between Microsoft, Internet2, and the Higher Education Research community, the University of Kansas is hosting a one-day workshop on March 3, 2014, that will explore ways in which public cloud infrastructure can support the emerging big data needs in genomic biodiversitiy. The related Windows Azure training is offered on March 4, following the Genomic Biodiversity Summit.
