Microsoft Research Asia hosted the fourth Windows Core Workshop in Beijing on April 15 and 16, 2010. Faculty members from the United States, Europe, China, Japan, Korea, Australia, and New Zealand participated—as well as those from many Southeast Asian countries including Vietnam, Philippines, and Thailand. The workshop provided faculty with curriculum materials, Windows kernel source code, and a project environment for teaching operating system principles using Windows.
