| Beer Night (Monday, March 3) |
The Pacific Northwest is widely recognized for its world-class breweries and
wineries. To celebrate this bounty, we will gather on Monday, March 3, at
the Pike Brewing Company in the heart of famous Pike Place Market from 7:00
PM to midnight. The gathering is informal, so feel free to come early for
dinner, or come late for drinks and appetizers. Pike Brewing Company brews
their beer on-site, so you can watch the brewing in action. They also have a
brewing museum, so you can tour through hundreds of years of brewing
history. For those who prefer something else, there is an extensive
selection of Washington wines, locally brewed sodas and root beer, ginger
ale, non-alcoholic beers, ciders, and teas.
Pike Place Market is a great place to find dinner on Monday night. You can
find nearly any kind of cuisine and dining style in the market, as well as
the original Starbucks Coffee. And once you’ve had dinner around there,
please drop by to relax and chat with colleagues, friends, and meet with the
diverse crowd that only ASPLOS brings together.
