Russell Tessier is an associate professor of electrical and computer engineering at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He received SM and Ph.D degrees in electrical engineering and computer science from MIT in 1992 and 1999, respectively. Dr. Tessier has worked professionally at several companies, including Altera Corporation and Mentor Graphics. His interests include reconfigurable computing, embedded systems, and multicore processing.
