Computer Science Clinic and Research at Harvey Mudd College

Harvey Mudd College is a small, highly selective, school for undergraduates, with a focus on the sciences, engineering, and mathematics. The capstone experience for students majoring in computer science is the year-long Computer Science Clinic project, named in analogy to the practical experience that students receive in the medical profession. Currently six or more such projects are conducted each year.

This talk will present the rationale for, and typical characteristics of, Computer Science Clinic projects. We will also take the occasion to mention other research on-going in the Computer Science department.
