Uncoupled Dynamics and Strategic Equilibrium

The dynamical system in the repeated play of a game is “uncoupled” if each player initially knows only his own payoff function. We study the effects of this natural assumption on the possibility and impossibility of reaching Nash and correlated equilibria, and on the communication complexity that is involved.
