Bill Gates, Warren Buffett and Other Great Minds Show how Creative Capitalism Can Save the World

At the World Economic Forum in Davos, Bill Gates gave the first economic speech of his life challenging fellow entrepreneurs, non profit pioneers, economists and academics to pursue the idea of “creative capitalism” to address the growing gap between the rich and the poor in the global economy. Many of the world’s problems are too big for philanthropy-even on the scale of the Gates Foundation-and the free market capitalist system will need to contribute to solve them.
How will this “creative capitalism” actually work—and will it? Michael Kinsley asked some of the greatest minds to examine this question, and the result is a conversation about a new kind of global economy that may-or may not-change the world.
