A WinRT XAML Toolkit by Filip Skakun
In his talk, Filip will share some tools from his workshop, talk about using WinRT XAML Toolkit to build, debug and otherwise enrich your XAML applications and try to answer any questions related to developing Windows 8 apps UI with C# and XAML, combining XAML with DirectX or using C++/CX.

Filip Skakun has been using XAML and DirectX since 2009 and since then he has used it to build applications for Microsoft and other companies, such as Catan, Nokia, Sesame Workshop, Disney, AccuWeather, CNN, ESPN on platforms such as Windows 7, PixelSense, Windows Phone and Windows 8.
Today, Filip is working on the next version of Microsoft’s Fresh Paint and in the off hours – tinkering with XAML, building WinRT XAML Toolkit, answering WinRT/XAML questions on Stack Overflow and a WinRT/XAML book project with Apress.
