Michael D. Schroeder
July 1973
The goal of this meeting was to bring together researchers from the area
of programming languages with those from the area of operating systems for the
purpose of developing insight into the relationship between languages and
systems. Each participant was required to submit in advance a brief working
paper on current research of relevance to the workshop topic. These papers
were distributed beforehand to the participants as background reading. The
format of the meeting was very informal. No papers were presented.
