Overview
SIS is a prototype tool that makes it easy for you to find
information you've seen before, whether it came as email, attachments,
files, web pages, appointments, tablet journal entries, etc. We do this
by providing a single unified stored of different sources and providing
an interface
with quick sorting, filtering, previews and thumbnails.
Stuff I've Seen uses MS Search to create an index of all your
important content. This index can be used to return search results very
rapidly (typically less than 1 second).
By default, SIS indexes the following sources:
- Everything in your Outlook profile (e-mail messages, calendar
entries, tasks, etc. in all your exchange folders and PSTs that are
visible when you start Outlook)
- All files in your "My Documents" folder
- All web pages in your Internet cache
SIS's big sister has finally shipped!
Windows Desktop Search is now
available on the web for free download. See how cool searching your
desktop can be! Stuff I've Seen is developed by the
