About Postdoctoral Opportunities
A post-doc position in the Cambridge lab is a
great opportunity to work with some of the best researchers, and
the strongest teams, in a whole range of areas of Computer
Science and Information Engineering. More than that, there is
the potential to have your research realized in products and
services that will be used on millions of desktops across the
world.
Post-doc researchers receive a competitive salary and
benefits package, and are eligible for relocation expenses.
Post-doc positions are for a fixed term of 2 years. Successful
candidates will have a strong record of publications and must
have completed the requirements for a PhD, including submission
of their thesis, prior to joining Microsoft Research. We will
call short-listed
candidates for a 1 day interview in Cambridge.

To be
considered for a postdoctoral research position in Cambridge,
complete the
online application form, following the
instructions on the form, and providing the following
information:
- In the Location Preference field click the Cambridge U.K. box
- In the Position Interested In field click the Post
Doc Positions box
- On the second page of the form, in the Microsoft Research
Contact field, enter the name of the research group, from
the list of research groups, that you
are interested in. If you have a named contact in Microsoft
Research Cambridge you can enter the name of that contact
instead.
- You are strongly encouraged to submit a short Research
Statement of one or two pages, and upload where
indicated on the form. Please don’t tell us anything you
wouldn’t speak about if asked about your research in a
public venue, such as a conference.
