| Siân Lindley is part of the Socio-Digital Systems Group at Microsoft Research, Cambridge (UK). She has a background in Psychology and has carried out a number of studies looking at how the experience of collocated photo sharing and the characteristics of photo-talk are affected by different types of interface. | ||
| Abigail Durrant | ||
| Abigail Durrant is a doctoral student at the University of Surrey, UK, supported by the Microsoft Research PhD Scholarship Programme. Her project combines Social Psychology and Interaction Design to explore how photos become resources for the expression and empowerment of family members in the home. This work aims to inform the design of domestic photographic displays. | ||
| Dave Kirk | ||
| Dave Kirk is a researcher in the Socio-Digital Systems Group at Microsoft Research, Cambridge (UK). He has a background in Psychology and has previously conducted studies on various aspects of media use in the home, in particular domestic photowork. He is currently researching aspects of family archiving. | ||
| Alex Taylor | ||
| Alex Taylor is also a member of the Socio-Digital Systems Group at Microsoft Research. He has undertaken investigations into a range of routine and often mundane aspects of everyday life. For instance, he’s had an unhealthy preoccupation with list making, fridge door arrangements, the organisation of clutter and similar seemingly banal practices. Part of this ongoing research has included a scrutiny of photo displays and their part in the social organisation of family. | ||
